Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
Following a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore available until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are multiple package options offered in this deal.
The Main Attraction
The big draw is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade mapping application which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.
An imaginative landscape chart generated in the CC3+ software platform.
Package Levels
Basic Package
The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Intermediate Package
The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.
Complete Collection
Starting at thirty dollars, the 39-item bundle contains these components:
- Advanced Terrain Generator
- Dungeon Creation Tool

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. Users can also create character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
Philanthropic Aspect
As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief. The Bundle Filters option appear near the page top, though users may also choose any amount for a donation in the right-hand section. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, allowing you to adjust how much of your donation goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
