The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually happening.
